So Fabulous range with Littlewoods.com Bloggers Event!

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to a So Fabulous range with Littlewoods.com bloggers event at their press office in Soho.

For those of you who are unaware of So Fabulous, they are the Plus range of Very and Littlewoods.

Upon arrival of the venue we were greeted by Elly and the So Fab team.

After a quick look around the current range and a sneak preview of the AW13 range, we were split in to two groups for a style challenge. Becky was our willing volunteer model and we had to dress her for a night out to the theatre.

Myself, Lauren and Kirsty decide on a feather print dress with mesh arms and neckline. To be honest, the dress didn't look like much on the hanger, but it looked amazing on Becky.

We also managed to find an amazing pair of shoes which match the dress perfectly....even if
Becky couldn't walk very far in them!

So Fabulous have some amazing items coming out shortly and I cant wait to get my hands on them!!

This is my favourite dress ever...I'm a bit addicted to Nashville and the whole country thing at the moment!

I love this dress but I would never wear it.

I also got to meet the amazing Lauren for the first time. I am a long time admirer of her blog and can't wait for Plus London in November

After the event a few of us went out for a meal. We found an amazing little Greek place which is delicious!

Thank you So Fabulous for a wonderful evening......maybe your next event could be in Liverpool???

Day Two - OOTD

A few days ago I showed you some of my recent finds from eBay and today was the first chance that I have had to wear my lovely ASOS dress I won.

The dress is really light weight and perfect for warm London and Leeds days.

What I wore....

Denim Jacket - New Look Inspire
Dress - ASOS Curve via eBay
Leggings - New Look Inspire
Sandals - primark

London seems so much more beautiful when the sun is out....Plus I didn't have too travel in the tube!

OOTD

This is last Sundays OOTD whilst in London.

Me and Becky had plans to go out and about and soon realised that our plans had been scuppered by the bloody tube with its maintenance works so we decided to head straight to Kings Cross.

As you can see I look a tad ropey and I wish I could tell you it was a hangover, but unfortunately I was just exhausted!

Skinny jeans - George @ Asda
Jumper - AX Paris
Parker - True from Tesco

BPSFW

I have started to write this post a million time but just can't seem to get across what I want to say. Most of what I would like to say has already been said. I still have a few burning questions, which are unlikely to ever get any answered, and I would love to know what happened to my fave celeb (not) Gemma Collins!!!

The venue was unsuitable, the staff were rude and unhelpful, the market place was cramped, there was no social area, no refreshments, the ladies toilets where actually the gents, and no thought what so ever had been given the people who ultimately lined the organisers pockets!

I do have to take my hat off to the organisers though for the amount of press activity they managed to stir up. And for the discussion panel, which was the best part of the day, even with the dodgy acoustics, and even for the first part of the fashion show. I lost interest after 40 mins. And I would like to thank them for introducing me to some fab new brands.

I firmly believe in second chances, and hope the event is on next year. But please, please, please, listen to the people you are charging £45 a ticket when they give you criticism. And stop thinking amount the money you can make!!!!

I didn't take many photos during the day but did manage to get one with Jessica Kane. Yes, I got a bit fan girlie, but I still managed to give her a Plus North business card!!! And to my utter surprise and delight she said she knew all about our event! Our little Plus North managed to get all the way to the states!!!!

I wore the Galatic printed cut out dress, which was kindly gifted to me from Simply Be. I got my normal size 22, but it was a tag bit and reckon I could of easily fit in a size 20. But I loved the dress and actually got loads of compliments in it.

OOTD - F&F AW12 Press Day Pt 1

Yes, you read that right! I am doing this post in three parts!!!!!!

I have a confession first however..... Yesterday was my first time ever in London....well I have been to Wembley but that doesn't count!

I was like a Japanese tourist! Just ask Becky and Mhairi! It was amazing though, and I can't wait to go back at the end of the month!

My first post is my outfit post. I wanted to wear something comfy and kinda 'trendy' too, so I went for the nautical style.

Denim Jacket - Simply Be (last season)
Stripy shirt - Evans (old)
Navy Linen trousers - George (via eBay)
Navy and red pumps - Next
Necklace - Life's Big Canvas

This isn't the outfit I originally planned to wear but I have lost my black shoes so had to re think at the last minute!

THAT Dress is back!

Do you remember this?

I wanted to be Geri Halliwell when I was younger! I can't remember the amount of times I went to fancy dress parties wearing a make shift Union Jack dress. I also have an addiction to hair dye thanks to Miss Halliwell! Yep, the first time I dyed my hair I went ginger because I wanted to be like Geri! (and in all honesty, it's not hair off this colour now!)

As the Olympics are fast approaching I'm guessing that this is Next's attempt to get us all feeling more patriotic and to get us all behind team GB! (Personally, I am more excited for Euro 2012) but I absolutely love Geri's new, modern take on this dress! I won't be wearing or buying all of it but will definitely be buying some pieces for my early holiday, Supporting England at the Euros and for my trip to London to watch the Olympics in Trafalgar Square!

Prices start from £18 and is available in-store and online from March!
