Day 10 - #30daychallenge and update.

Hello lovelies....

I have to confess.... I've been a bad blogger......I have missed 4 days. Plus North and family duties called and been as slack as I am I didn't plan ahead and schedule any post in!

So I am going to pick up today on day 10!

Most embarrassing moments...

In my drinking day (I rarely drink), I probably had about 3 embarrassing moments a week. From fallen down stairs, falling up stairs and generally just been a tit.

One that stands out is a night out in Leeds when I was about 20.

In Leeds city centre there used to be some water fountains. Me, in my drunken state, decided that it would be fun to play chicken with them and see if I could make it through them with out getting wet....... I ended up getting my heel caught in a hole and unable to take my shoe off as it had an ankle strap on!

Fair to say, the fountains won, and I ended up soaked!

Life's Big Canvas

We all know how amazing Life's Big Canvas jewellery is, right?

But did you know Chloe has started to sell stationary and crafty stuff? Been the stationary whore I am, this made me very excited!! Life's Big Canvas is located a very very short walk away from where I work in Leeds and I love visiting Chloe!!!

Chloe kindly gifted me a few items from her new stock to show you!

Ahhh, can't beat a good note book.... I know have three in my work bag!!! (I bought the notes book!)

How amazing is the 'make it yourself' felt bird???? You can also get 'make your own' key rings, badges, magnets, photo frames and jewellery. If you visit Life's Big Canvas, located at the Birds Yard in Leeds, you can also have a look through the range of Tatty Divine that is in stock....and if I am not mistaken, she has a Lobster necklace!!!

Since the opening of the Trinity in Leeds, I really feel that the small independant business are struggling. So if you live in Leeds, or you happen to be visiting, I urge you to visit Birds Yard....

Ill be honest, unless I have something to do on a weekend I love nothing more than staying in bed until mid morning.

This morning however I had arranged to meet my mum in Leeds for a little shop!

As usual I had a hissy fit when trying to decide what to wear.

I finally opted for skinny jeans and a top.

A weekend of fun Pt1

As most of you are aware, Saturday was mine and Becky's big event, PlusNorth. Before the event really got going I met few of the bloggers already in Leeds!

My weekend started on Thursday night when I met the fabulous Caroline and Kathryn for the Nelly Shoe Event.

Held at the stunning Oracle Bar in Leeds, Nelly was offering the first 150 girls in a free pair of shoes!!! Yes, a free pair!

As I would actually be late to my own funeral, Caroline and Kathryn were right at the front of the queue when I arrived. We want to be inside the first 100 in as we got a goody bag! Once we were let in, it was shoe heaven!!!! The shoes were unfortunately behind glass but they were still stunning!

Apart from the Kim and and Fabulous, I cant remember what my third choice was, so watch this space.

We left around 10am with our goody bags, which were actually worth waiting for, it contained two magazine and a pair of thongs!!! Yes, you read that bit right, and went for some food at Frankie and Benny's. The food was lush and the company was outstanding!!!

Caroline and Kathryn are absolute stars! I also took there bra advised, going from a 44DD, as told by a High St Store, to a , well I think a 38G but I need the girls to check the next time i see them! I didnt realise how uncomfortable my bra was!!!!

The night ended with all 3 of us going to my flat and swapping colours and looking at tights and socks!

Life's Big Canvas

Jewellery is not something that I have a lot of! I have a pair of diamond earrings my boy bough me a few years ago and some Vivienne Westwood earring from the Christmas before last, but nothing else really! I go through phases with costume jewellery. I generally buy things once I have an outfit sorted! And it's normally only earrings and necklaces.

But then I discovered Life's Big Canvas and the lovely Chloe! Life's Big Canvas is based in the Bird's Yard in Leeds, which is literally a second from my work! You can find Chloe @peskychloe on twitter)

I purchased all of these necklaces online but will most definitely be going in to the shop once I am back at work!

All three necklaces are beautiful and I have had comments on all three! 

I can't wait to get paid again!
