OOTD - Papillon

A few weeks ago myself and Becky were lucky enough to be invited to Simply Be HQ to discuss Plus North. Whilst there we meet the lovely Jess from Label PR.

Once we had discussed Plus North Jess asked if we would like to review anything from the new Simply Be range.

One of the items that I really liked was the Butterfly Skater dress.

Normally I avoid skater dress as they done suit me. But I really like this one. And it has pockets!!!

I wore the dress with an oversized Cardi and tights.

Has anything caught your eye from the new Simply Be range?

Friday drinky poos!

On Friday I paid a visit to my Bestie. She has had a bit of a shitty 6 month so I took her out for tea to cheer her up a bit!

Unfortunately the snow put a bit of a downer on things as we live quite far away and had to think about getting home.

Saying that though, we had a fab time!

I went straight from work and kept my 'dress down' wears on!

I had an episode of missing my boot cut jeans, so was over the moon when I found these at the clothes swap. They are my comfy clothes item.

As you can see, I so eloquently took my photo in the toilets of the pub we had tea in!

Fa(t)shionologie Month Two!

Fatshionologie is a blogger style challenge born out of a discussion on twitter in the hopes that it would help us create exciting new content for our blogs as well as show that each new style 'theme' can be  rocked by a variety of different body shapes!

This month theme was Bargains!

I was quite excited when I suggested this theme as I knew that the Clothes Swap was going to be the weekend before.

I got this lovely lovely Elephant print dress from the swap.....I'm not sure who took it to the swap but THANK YOU! It's originally from ASOS Curve.

It's only a size 20, a size smaller that I normally wear, but it just fits, well its a little snug over the bouys, but not too bad!

I have to confess that I didn't actually wear this today. I'm off to Manchester tomorrow to look at venues for Plus North and I am wearing this!

Dress - ASOS Curve - Free
Tights - M&S - £4.50 (sale)
Cardi - George - Old (£8?)

Don't forget to check out the other ladies Bargain posts!

Cheap as Chips....

Look at my bargain coat....

Its amazing, even if I say so myself! Pockets in the right place, very warm, and has a hood!

And the price...... Reduced from £140 to just £34.50. I couldn't believe it when I saw it!!! I'd never bought something so quickly in my life!!!

What's been your biggest bargain?

2013

I hate the term New Years Resolution's. Instead this year I am calling them goals.

And I have set myself a few for the coming year...

1. GET HEALTHY! - I admit I am the most unfit person I know. I am also quite (very!) Lazy. But I want to start fitness, or some form of class to combat that.  I won't go to the gym as I find it dull and lack luster. My first point of call will be a Zumba class. I have a sports bra to hand....I just need to buy everything you need to work out in!

2. Pass my driving test - I've failed my test twice but I am determined to pass this year. I live quite far from my mum and even further from my sister and nephew and have to rely on the boy to drive me where I want to go.

3. Blog blog blog - I blogged every day for 23 days and loved it. I liked that not all the posts were fashion related and you maybe got to see the real me. I am going to try and post two outfit posts a week and a weekly round up kinda thing this year.

4. Get out more - I am a creature of comfort. I love nothing more than cosy nights in and snuggling in front of the TV. I turning night outs down because I don't like the unfamiliar and the crowds but I miss my friends and socialising.

5. Capture the moment - Santa very kindly bought me a new camera for Xmas. I love photography and the emotions and memories you capture in photo. I want to take a picture everyday and then at the end of the year make them in to a scrap book. I might share them on my blog but I'm not sure yet.

Do you have any goals for the coming year?
