OOTD - Slummy Sunday!

Do was a 'I just want to be comfy day'. If I wasn't going out I would just sit in my PJ's all day and not move from the sofa. But I had a few things to do.

This is my perfect kind of casual slummy outfit. I love jeans and I love hoodies.

Next Boyfriend Jeans. Gap hoodie and Stripy Evans tee.

Not sure whats going on with the face! I get all Chandler when a camera is pointed in my direction. I swear I haven't been drinking!

I love boy jeans. Today I worn my jeans with my converse but if we get a summer I love boy jeans and flip flops.

I couldn't be bothered straightening my hair so I just did two loose french plaits. Not a good look but I does the job. I didn't do make up either this morning! I am useless someday!! lol!

Oh and as you can see I now have dark hair. It's actually brown not black as it looks on here!

Perfect Plus size Jeans Pt3

The next pair of Jeans I have to review are a pair of Wide Leg jeans from Simply Be

I have worn these jeans a few time but never had the chance to take pics and post the review of them.

When I first received the jeans and realised that they had an elasticated section in the waist band I was a bit put off as I have never worn trousers with elastication in them.

PROS

• Excellent wide-leggage. I'll explain. I have bought wide leg jeans before and they have been tight around the thigh and super wide legged around the calf's, or they are all tents and drown every where. These jeans are not like that. They fit right all way down, from backside to ankles!
• They go with everything! I have worn with my converse and a hoodie, wedges and a blazer and I will most definitely be wearing with sandals and vest tops when spring summer arrives!
• They are mega comfy.
• They wash really really well, with no colour fade or anything!

CONS

• As they have elastication in them I found them a tad big. Especially when I had worn them a few time without washing. If I was to buy a pair of these I would size down.
• The Belt. It just wasn't for me. I didn't like it.

I would definitely recommend these jeans.

The Perfect Plus Size Jeans Part 2

The second pair of jeans I have to review is from the fabulous Simply Be!

When I approached Simply Be I was pretty open to the type of jeans I was looking for. The first pair that I received were the Eve bootcut jeans in vintage blue.

Eve Bootcut Jeans £35

 Pro's

• Excellent fit around the waist with no gaping.
• Perfect length for wearing with flats (these are the 29inch leg). I am just over 5'1 and once I had my flats on they were about 2cm off the ground.
• The material is quite stretchy and not as thick as some denim.
• They wash really well. There was no 'working them in' when I put them back on after being washed.
• They are Über comfy!

Cons

• Baggy bum!!!!! I was seriously glad that I was wearing a long jumper with these jeans! I ended up having to roll them up at the waist.
• I wouldn't be able to wear this length jeans with heels or wedges.
• I had blue/black legs from the dye after the first wear!!!

For £35 these jeans are a wardrobe staple! I can live with the fact that the only down fall is a baggy bum (I will just have to remember to wear longer tops!) I will definitely be purchasing these Jeans in a longer length so I can wear them with heels.

Definitely a 8 out of 10!

Jeans and Jumpers

''There are no jeans like designer jeans''...... Apparently designer jeans will instantly make you look taller, slimmer and feel more seductive..... If they did wouldn't we spend every penny we had on them (if they did them in plus sizes!)

In my eyes, any jeans that fit properly will make you look taller and slimmer. And anything that feels and looks good WILL make you feel more seductive and confident.

The key is finding a style of jeans that fit YOU! I am still on a mission to find the perfect pair of jeans. Next and Evans come close though. I generally buy boot cut, wide leg or flared jeans as I am larger around the chest and middle. They balance my shape and make me look more in proportion. (I wore skinny jeans once and looked like Buzz Lightyear!!!)

Plus boot cuts, flared and wide leg jeans look fab with my new craze, wedges. Below are four pairs of jeans that I can't live with out.

I love winter. And I love winter fashion. Partly because I love knitwear. Knitwear, whether fine knit and fitted or chunky and over sized, is a key item for any wardrobe.

During the transition between autumn and winter I often wear a chunky cardie instead of a coat. Chunky cardie's look amazing with legging and jeans, as well as over work wear.

This season seems to be all about over sized jumpers and boyfriend cardigans.
Simply be have a wide range of knitwear in various styles, colours and price. I really love this pleat sleeve cardigan. It comes in purple and black and would be a great addition to any wardrobe.

I purchased the next jumper, also from simply be, a few weeks ago. It is a v-neck jumper and comes in a range of colours, which makes it extremely versatile (I purchased it in olive green). The material is very soft to touch and washes extremely well. It has a slight bat-wing to the sleeves and a nice deep waist band. It also sits very well around the bust as the v-neck isn't too deep. Some of the colours are very 'worky', but the silver grey would look good with a pair of jeans and heels on a winters night out.

I also love this Joe Browns brown tunic jumper. I think I would wear this jumper out its so versatile. It would look good with leggings and flats as well as thick black tights and boots.
This jumper is definitely next on my wish list.
